THE
RIVERFRONT

RECONNECTED

Restoring rhythm and life to Nashville’s East Bank.

Overview

Eastpoint marks Nashville’s return to the river, a reconnection shaped by a bend in the Cumberland where the current slows. This historic riverfront will grow into a neighborhood made for life along the river.

Rooted in History

Where the River Met The City

Before bridges and stadium lights, Nashville’s East Bank formed along the Cumberland’s inside bend. A working edge where river, rail, and industry powered a growing city. Once lined with warehouses and mills, this stretch of riverfront served as Nashville’s engine room until highways and superblocks pulled neighborhoods away, leaving a historic landscape largely out of reach.

Looking forward

Built for
What’s Next

Eastpoint begins the next chapter on that same bend. It takes the East Bank’s industrial bones—big skies, long views, and generous blocks and turns them toward daily life with welcoming public spaces, family-friendly gathering places, and clear connections to the river. The goal is pragmatic and civic: to restore access, create spaces that feel authentically Nashville, and fold the river’s edge back into everyday routines.

The Path Ahead

A Neighborhood in Motion

Led by The Fallon Company as the Master Developer and in partnership with the East Bank Development Authority, Eastpoint is envisioned as a mixed-use neighborhood along the river. The plan brings housing, workplaces, hospitality, and civic spaces together at a comfortable urban scale. Walkable streets and plazas offer intuitive wayfinding, safe crossings, shade, seating, and space for strollers and bikes. As the city continues to evolve, Eastpoint honors the East Bank’s history while opening the door to what comes next—after-school meetups, weekend walks, and the steady rhythm of daily life by the river.
